Los Angeles County Water District

The District was incorporated on December 30, 1938, in the State of California. Sativa-Los Angeles County Water District supplies domestic water services to a portion of the Willowbrook area, an unincorporated area of the County of Los Angeles. The service area is approximately one-half square mile and contains approximately 1600 customers. The District maintains two active wells at two plant locations.

The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, which has no oversight responsibility over any other entities and no component units within its reporting entity structure. The criteria used to determine the reporting entity governing authority, (a) Designation of management, (b) Ability to significantly influence operations, and (c) Accountability in finance matters.

Board Meetings & Notices
The public is welcome to attend Board meetings held at 6:00 p.m. every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in the front office building at 2015 E. Hatchway Street, Compton, CA 90222.

All customers may address the Board, under the "Public Comment" agenda item at a regularly scheduled meeting. However, no Board action on a customers request can be addressed until the item is included on a future published agenda. Customers must contact the main office by noon on the Wednesday, preceding the scheduled Board meeting, in order to have an item added to agenda for Board consideration at the next meeting.
