Payment Options
At the Sativa Los Angeles County Water District, we understand our customers' needs for variety of payment options when paying their bills. Therefore we offer several different payment options.

If you wish to come by the office to pay your bill in person, we accept cash, check, and money order.

Payment Drop Box

There is a payment drop box located by the front entrance of the building in a black box for your convenience. Just place your payment in an envelope or use one of the payment envelopes provided at the box. Be sure to include your account number (if available) or service address on the envelope to insure correct processing.
Note: All payments put in the drop box will be processed at 8:00 am the next business day excluding weekends and holidays.

Rejected Payment Policy

When a Consumer's payment is rejected, for any reason, the District will consider the account not paid. The consumer's account will be assessed a $40 rejected payment charge. The 2nd incident will result in a $65 rejected payment charge to the consumer’s account. The 3rd incident will result in a $ 95 rejected payment charge to the consumer’s account and your checks will not be accepted for a 1 year period.
A 48-Hour Disconnection Notice will be issued to obtain full restitution for the rejected payment. Water service will be disconnected, if the amount of the rejected payment and all applicable fees, charges and/or deposits, if required, are not paid within the 48-hour period.

If your become aware that your payment is going to be rejected for any reason and you want to pay for the rejected item you must contact the office to make the payment plus any fees and/or deposits.
